In Finland, traffic drives on the right. Roads in Finland are generally in a good condition, but in winter snow and ice can cause problems. Between December and February it is compulsory to use winter wheels, but they don't remove the risk of an accident so driving with extra care is important. Distances given on the  traffic signs are in kilometers (1km = 0,62mi). Use of headlights and seat belt is compulsory in Finland, as well as a hands-free device while driving and talking on the phone. Driving in Finland is easy and stress-free as you can mainly enjoy the empty roads, and there is no need to worry about traffic jams.
