Located close to the city centre, the University of Jyväskylä’s park-like campus functions as the venue for a wide range of events. On the old campus, Seminaarinmäki, designed by Alvar Aalto, there are different-sized lecture halls, seminar rooms, reception facilities, restaurants and cafes, sports facilities and even a quiet space. Conference facilities for 2 300 people in total, including the university’s 750 seat main auditorium.

The Agora Center offers modern meeting facilities and restaurant services as well as an excellent lake view. Down in Mattilanniemi there are facilities for 1 550 people, of which Agora can accommodate 700.

Numerous dining spaces are available on campus. These can accommodate everything from small occasions involving 20 guests to large buffet events attended by 750 people.
